HTC One Mini release date set for August 9 in the UK, report
The HTC One Mini is said to launch early next month in the UK, although the company is yet to make the highly anticipated handset official.
Pocket-lint got the August 9 release date for the handset from a Twitter account (@vizileaks), which the publication says it was accurate about the Nokia Lumia 1020 not so long ago.
Assuming the August 9 is the real deal, it means the device may be made official in the coming days, and launch in various other markets in the following weeks.
In fact, this isn’t the first time we hear that the handset could be released by late July (therefore August in some markets), with its bigger brother, the HTC One Max expected to arrive one month later.

Despite not being the next-gen flagship HTC handset, the HTC One Mini starred in a variety of rumors and leaks so far, with some buyers most likely eagerly waiting to get their hands on the smaller HTC One version.
Just yesterday HTC mistakenly published what looked to be a teaser post on its website for the upcoming handset, but the device was not made official.
Coincidentally, the LG G2 is expected to be announced en fanfare on August 7, during a special media event in New York City. Is HTC trying to steal the buzz with an HTC One Mini launch scheduled during that period, or is it just a coincidence? We’ll just have to wait and see whether this rumor turns out to be true.
Anyone buying the HTC One Mini as soon as it hits stores?
