What’s new in Moto X, spotted in leaked software details
Motorola and Verizon has finally revealed it’s three new Droid smartphone, Droid Mini, Droid Maxx and Droid Ultra. All these three smartphones comes with many great and major software updates. The upcoming Moto X, which is Google’s new flagship smartphone also packs several features same to Verizon’s recently announced Droids. Recently AndroidPolice has shared some of the screenshots from Motorola Moto X smartphone. Below we are adding some of the highlighting features which will be coming in Moto X Smartphone.
ACTIVE DISPLAY
It seems like the Motorola’s new flagship smartphone will use AMOLED display scree with the ability to easily turn individual pixels on and off for displaying notifications on the screen, without waking up the entire smartphone display. This feature was recently announced with the new Droids and it will also coming to Moto X.
MOTOROLA ASSIST
At D11 conference, talking about the intelligence of Moto X, Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside has said that, “”we know when it’s in your pocket, we know when it’s in your hand.” He was talking about the new Motorola Assist, which will change your phone’s settings in response to various actions like whether you are at home or at your work. However the look is somehow similar to Google Now, there is no more details about this new feature.
MOTOROLA CONNECT
Next is the Motorola Connect, which is a Chrome browser extension allowing you to easily send text messages and call notifications from phone to your PC.
TOUCHLESS CONTROL
It was just announced with the new Droids and with this new feature, Motorola’s Moto X will always be listening for voice commands. You will train the phone to recognize what you speak by saying “OK Google Now” to your phone.
MOTOROLA DEVICE ID
It could be Moto X exclusive only. It is a feature which is much demanded by Android users: with the help of which you can easily track a lost phone. According to the leaked screenshot, Moto X owners will have access to a “Lost Phone Web Portal.”
Other feature includes Motorola Migrate which will migrate all your information including text messages and contacts from one phone to another. The last feature is the new Boot screen which you can see below.
