LG sell G2 in North America and Europe in September, complet
In less than two weeks, we’re going to see LG officially unveil the G2 to the world as its official successor to the LG Optimus G. The Korea-based company has already sent out the invites to the media. And some of us have even seen the phone itself already, courtesy of a leaked set of pictures and a video that popped up online about two weeks ago.
With all of that said, one question still lingers in many curious minds: when exactly is the LG G2 going to become available for sale? Well, we’re here to help make sure that this question gets answered once and for all.
According to a Korean-language Kyunghyang newspaper report being cited in a recent post on the Russian Ringer’s Blue Men blog, the LG G2 is set to become available first in South Korea in August of this year. Then, it will be released in both North America and Europe in September, followed by a full global release by the time October rolls around.
The LG G2 is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new large-screen smartphones on its way to the market, and that is in part thanks to its interesting hardware features. These include a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3GB RAM, and a 5.2-inch high-resolution touchscreen display. The G2 is also peculiar in its placement of home button and volume rocker at the back.
We’ll see whether LG’s decision to make the G2 the way it did pays off, as soon as it gets released starting next month. In the meantime, watch this quick video of it to get an idea of what you’re in for, in case you’ve decided to wait for it to arrive.
