The Technique Communitation Meeting of AnTuTu v4.0 in Beijin
AnTuTu Labs hold the technology communication meeting about the upgrade of AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0 in Beijing September 3rd. AnTuTu made a detailed introduction on the technology part to AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0 and explanation pointing at the cooperative ideas and its open attitude. There are over 20 main hardware companies delegates attended this meeting.
In the meeting, the founder and Product Manager Mr Cai Xuan has made a detailed introduction on the technology part to AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0, including the calculation principle of new-added User Experience tests and the quantitative methods about CPU, GPU and RAM. After the introduction, Mr. Cai Xuan had deep discussion with the attendant delegates on technology issues.
The brief introduction of technique upgrade:
AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0 does improvement on the tests to CPU integer, CPU float-point, memory, 2D/3D, database and SD-card. Via optimizing the algorithmand improving the supporting programs, AnTuTu keeps steps with the times which can accurately test out the performance level of current Android-based smart devices.
AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0 focuses on user experience. In order to do a better benchmark, we add multitask test and Dalvik test to make the scores more close to the user experience in daily usage.
Coming up with the new AnTuTu 3DRating Benchmark, Version 4.0 gives full play to GPU performance. Of cause, you can also see a fire-new 3D testing-scene in AnTuTu Benchmark which is designed for the most users. But, if your phone is with Android 4.3 OS and support OpenGl ES 3.0, you are welcome to 3DRating Benchmark.
In new version, adjustment to the weight of each test item score have been made and mainly increased the weight of benchmark to User Experience which make the AnTuTu Benchmark 4.0 more dynamic and reliable.
What’s more, in order to encourage the user to pay attention to the personal devices information when benchmarking, and improve the understanding to performance of smartphone, we award those people who do benchmarking for more times and on different devices.
In addition, we will grade the devices according to the unified standard on overall performance, game performance and battery performance.
The Purpose of Grading
After grading, users can figure out in which level your device is, among so many phones and what you can do with your device.
The Settings to Grading
The smartphone grade is made up of three programs. The scores of each program may affect the final grading.
Gaming performance 30%
Battery performance 20%
The aim of AnTuTu Labs is to get more approval from customers on our benchmark. So, while facing the queries from other professions, we shall take open attitude, step by step and make all partners feel our sincerity.
From AnTuTu Benchmark V4.0, AnTuTu Labs will make the algorithm and test criteria public gradually.
The reason of any changes to the benchmarking standard will be informed to each partner, as well as publish it to all our users.
AnTuTu Labs can provide data of hardware related to the partners, as well as performance benchmarking data.
