Global Top 10 Best Performing iOS Devices in March 2021
The
first quarter of 2021 has come to an end. Compared with the vigorous growth of
the domestic Android phone market, not any iOS new product was launched. Apple’s
spring new product launch, expected to be held in March, has now been dashed.
However, a few days ago, Apple announced the date of WWDC this year a few
months in advance, namely early morning on Beijing time June 8, Apple will hold
the WWDC 2021 online.
Let’s
take a look at iOS device performance ranking list in March. Although the
Android-based Antutu V9 public beta version has been launched in the major
application markets, Antutu V8 version still prevails for iOS. The data was
collected for a period from March 1 to March 31, 2021. The results in the
ranking list are average scores rather than the highest scores, which are more
representative.
No.
1: iPad Pro 3 (12.9-inch)
Average
score: 727,861
The
iPad Pro 3 (12.9-inch) firmly held first again, with an average score of
727,861, showing a slight increase from the score in the last month. This is
the fourth month in a row that the iPad Pro 3 has been No. 1.
Apple’s
spring new product launch was supposed to focus on iPad product update, but it
seems likely that Apple will update iPad products directly on its official
website. Besides, Apple’s focus seems to have shifted away from the iPad in
recent years. After all, firstly, there is no competitor for existing iPad
products; secondly, there is no application that can challenge it. Without
competition, its pace of product upgrading will slow down; that is, it can be
updated, but it is unnecessary.
No.
2: iPad Pro 4 (12.9-inch)
Average
score: 717,856
The
iPad Pro 4 (12.9-inch) is still the second on the iOS performance ranking list
in March, with an average score of 717,856, showing a decrease of several
hundred points from that in February. A12Z processor, as Apple’s
“toothpaste-squeezing” work, is completely the same as A12X in terms of the
performance and manufacturing process, with the only difference lying in one
more core. Hence, its score is also hovering between A12X-empowered products,
and there is not a big gap in the user experience in daily use.
No.
3: iPad Pro 4 (11-inch)
Average
score: 712,939
The
iPad Pro 4(11-inch) still ranks the third this time, with an average score of
712,939, showing only a gap of several hundred points from that of last month.
However, in actual use, ordinary users can not feel the difference between the
top three products and may buy them according to their requirements for screen
size. But then again, the large-screen iPad Pro series is so strong that they
don’t need to be updated. Will Apple update the iPad Mini and lower the barrier
for the entry-level products this year?
Except
the top three, the following seven products are: iPad Pro 3 (11-inch) with an
average score of 688,533, iPad Air 4 with an average score of 647,455, iPhone
12 Pro Max with an average score of 642,120, iPhone 12 Mini with an average
score of 613,844, iPhone 12 with an average score of 617,179, iPhone 12 Pro
with an average score of 605,559, and iPhone 11 Pro Max with an average score
of 529,160.
Except
for the last iPhone 11 Pro Max, with an average score of less than 600,000, the
other nine products all achieved an average score of more than 600,000, or even
700,000 at most.
But
the difference is that the current iPhone 11 Pro Max is completely smooth, even
though the difference of the average score between the first place and the
tenth place is around 200,000, indicating that iOS products are amazing. So if
you need to buy such products, but the budget is not enough, you may buy some
second-hand equipment.
That
is all for the iOS performance ranking list in March 2021. Coupled with the
ranking lists in January and February, the performance rankings for the first
quarter of 2021 are completely unchanged. It is believed that you have gotten
used to such a situation of iOS devices, and that’s likely to continue until
Apple releases new products.
