The HTC One Google Play Edition launched last month and it seems that the company is already ready to release a new update. On the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group we discovered that that the Android 4.3 update for the HTC One Google Play Edition has already been certified. This new update will bring the software version number to 3.05.1700.2. It isn’t entirely clear when the update will be released, although we do expect that the update will be coming in the next few weeks.

A couple of weeks ago SamMobile got their hands on an early version of the Android 4.3 build for the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. In this leaked build there are only a small number of changes compared to the current version of Android. Google’s upcoming update is likely to bring a number of features that should make the life of developers a bit easier. Another change is the support for the Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy profile, which was already supported by the standard HTC One. This probably isn’t everything that Google will be bringing to Android 4.3, but we simply don’t how when the build was created.

Expect Android 4.3 this month for all supported Nexus and Google Play Edition devices.
