Size estimate: Xperia Z Ultra vs HTC One Max vs HTC One
Even though the HTC One Max has not been officially unveiled, a publication analyzed the allegedly leaked images showing the upcoming handset in order to compare the handset to the Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One.
As you can see in the image render above, the Xperia Z Ultra with its 6.44-inch display is significantly bigger than the HTC One Max, which is rumored to have a 5.9-inch display and which, in its turn, is bigger than the HTC One.
Earlier today we saw a leaked HTC One Max image showing how big the device is compared to 4-inch handsets. Using that particular image, HTC Source was able to estimate that the HTC One Max will have a height of 155mm and produced the image above.
Comparatively, the Xperia Z Ultra has a height of 179mm while the HTC One measures in at 137mm.
The HTC One Max and the Xperia Z Ultra are two of the three extra-large handsets launching in the coming months, with the former being already official, and the latter already starring in a variety of leaks.
The third one is the Galaxy Note 3, but an image of the device is not available at this time – at least not a high-quality one inspiring confidence – which means the Samsung vs HTC vs Sony rivalry that we witnessed so far this year in the flagship handset department will continue in the second half as well.
