Last week we talked about the idea of NVIDIA releasing some tablets of its own, including a seven-incher based on the Tegra 4, as well as a higher-end tablet running a next-gen Tegra 5. While we still wait to get more details on the latter, a whole bunch of new info has surfaced on this Tegra 4 tablet, including benchmarks and imagery.

While we heard the name Tegra Note Premium before, this time the tablet pops up in AnTuTu as the TegraTab7-Premium – that may mean multiple versions of the hardware, or simply a name that’s yet to be finalized. Performance looks quite impressive, with the tablet running a Tegra 4 at 1.8GHz, but as has been pointed out, some of that may have to do with the tablet’s 1280 x 800 resolution, rather than having to draw a full HD screen’s worth of pixels.

There are also a few images purporting to be this tablet, leaking out late last week. There sure does appear to be a slot to hold a stylus (though there’s no word if it would be capacitive or use an independent digitizer like Samsung’s Notes), and we can see ports that suggest HDMI-output.
