Seemingly Samsung's New Dual-core Exynos 5250’s Benchmark Sc
At the end of last year, Samsung released Exynos 5250 dual-core chip. According to previously
disclosed information, Exynos 5250 has Cortex-A15 architecture and it adopts 32nm manufacturing
process. Its frequency is 2GHz. While the GPU, Exynos 5250 possibly adopts dual or quad Mali-T604
GPU graphics core. The performance of Mali-T604 can be three to five times compared to Mali-400.
Recently, at AnTuTu’s website, there is a benchmark score of DEV_Exy5250. Judging from its name,
it may be Exynos 5250’s. And seems it can be proved by the score either. The total score of Exynos
5250 is 14185, which is comparable to the quad-core 4412. But it is worth noting that its 3D graphics
performance’s score is as high as 3600, which is far exceeds Galaxy SIII Mali-400’s and the
performance is quite strong. Its CPU frequency is 1.5GHz, which is different form what said 2GHz
before. Is it a low-frequency version of Exynos 5250? Is this really the benchmark score of Exynos
5250? How strong is Exynos 5250’s performance? There are too many questions. Let us looking
forward to Exynos 5250!
