Global Top 10 Best Performing iOS Devices in March 2022
Apple's annual spring product event was held on March 9 as scheduled, the 3rd-generation iPhone SE with the A15 processor was officially unveiled. However, its aging design has disappointed a lot of people.
More notably, the new iPad Air is equipped with the M1 chip, and because of this, its performance score has increased significantly, getting a good ranking in the current iOS device performance list.
It should be noted that figures in this ranking list were calculated from March 1 to March 31, 2022. The results in the ranking list are average scores instead of the highest scores, and thus more representative. The scores in the list are mainly based on Antutu V9 and cannot be compared with the results of the previous versions.
No.1: iPad Pro 5 (12.9-inch)
Average score: 1,211,932
No.2: iPad Pro 5 (11-inch)
Average score: 1,187,507
The two M1-equipped iPad Pro products have been at the top of the list for a year now. The top two mobile devices are likely to change only when Apple brings the updated M1 Max/Pro/Ultra to iPad models.
No.3: iPad Air 5
Average score: 1,071,532
The iPad Air 5 is also equipped with the M1 chip and has a performance score of 1,071,532 points. However, although equipped with a top-notch chip, the iPad Air 5's display refresh rate is not impressive.
But it's normal for an 'Air' product to have some flaws, which could open up the price range for Apple products. The starting price for iPad Air 5 64GB Wi-Fi version is CNY 4,399.
The following seven products are iPad Pro 3 (12.9-inch) with an average score of 849,297, iPhone 13 Pro Max with an average score of 842,159, iPhone 13 Pro with an average score of 838,989, iPad Pro 4 (12.9-inch) with an average score of 831,920, iPad Pro 4 (11-inch) with an average score of 821,847, iPad mini 6 with an average score of 801,336, iPad Pro 3 (11-inch) with an average score of 801,202.
Of the two new mobile devices Apple released in March, the M1-equipped iPad Air 5 ranked third, but the new iPhone SE did not make the top ten. With the tenth place being the powerful iPad Pro 3 (11-inch), the new iPhone SE could hardly have an edge on the performance score, even with an upgraded processor. Perhaps it will appear in the preferences list.
That's all for the iOS Performance list in March 2022.
